Creative Writing Workshops Introductory Creative Writing classes sponsored by UNA's Center for Writing Excellence help new and inexperienced writers learn about the conventions of fiction prose: how to develop characters and dialogue, use setting to forward plot, and how to read and respond through constructive criticism. Participants range from high school students to senior citizens, and have a variety of writing experience. The class meets six times, every other week in Spring, Summer, and Fall.
